We’re seeking a high-performing Business Ops | Systems Manager | EA to serve as the right hand to our CEO while ensuring operational excellence across our growing manufacturing business. This role combines executive support, Team management, strategic planning coordination, and office systems management. You’ll be pivotal in helping leadership stay focused, teams stay aligned, and operations run like clockwork.
What You’ll Do
Strategic & Executive Support
- Drive weekly leadership meetings, quarterly planning sessions, and scorecard execution.
- Distill business strategy into actionable communication and internal follow-up.
- Act as a trusted liaison between the CEO and cross-functional teams. Prior experience managing Teams is required for this role.
Operational & Systems Management
- Lead onboarding and integration for new hires (tech access, SOPs, systems setup)
- Manage operational workflows using Microsoft 365 (Planner, Teams, SharePoint)
- Develop and document business processes and operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Leverage modern tech—including AI tools—to improve team productivity and process efficiency.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 5+ years of experience in office management, business operations, with executive support
- A background supporting senior leadership in manufacturing or high-growth SMEs
- Proven ability in project management and coordinating other managers.
- Skilled in business cadence (leadership meetings, quarterly OKRs, reporting)
- Highly organized, systems-oriented, and proactive in creating structure
- Tech-savvy is a must, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and curiosity around AI (e.g., Copilot, Notion AI)
Bonus Points If You Have
- Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, or operational dashboards
- Experience supporting a founder, COO, or CEO in a growth-stage organization
- A knack for bringing clarity, calm, and execution to evolving environments
